Roots
- The main function of the roots is to absorb water and minerals.
- The roots also anchor the plant into the ground and store food.
- The roots are at the end of the stem and grow beneath the soil.
- If a plant did not have roots it would fall over and not be able to support itself. It would not be able to absorb water and this would cause the plant to die.
